Mountaineer Marc Batard, driven by his passion, decided at the age of 70 to return to what had been the emblem of his mountaineering career: Everest. Accompanied by Pasang Nuru Sherpa and Muhammad Ali Sadpara, Marc then undertook intensive training across the globe for five years. Here, he shares his personal experiences, his adventures, the people he met, and the emotions that accompanied him in his reconquest of Everest. He also shares his dedication and humanism in his project to introduce a new, safer route for climbing the roof of the world.
